This month, we have feature enhancements for Town Hall speakers and Challenge moderators, as well new releases of our iOS and Android mobile app. Check out our updates for September* below:
1. Town Hall “Answered by Me” Filter
We’ve seen a large uptick in the usage of Town Halls lately, especially among top executives and managers of leading organizations. Active Town Hall sessions can be very exciting for all participants, but the high-pace can also be hard to keep up if you’re the one moderating/speaking and answering incoming questions. To help solve this issue, we have added a new filter to Town Halls called “Answered by me”. Speakers and Moderators can use this quick filter as a way to check for new activity on any question they have answered.
To access this new filter simply go to a Town Hall you have participated in as a Speaker or Moderator, click on the down arrow to expose more filtering options and select “Answered by me”.
2. Mark Challenge Idea as a Duplicate
Challenges are a great way to collect ideas or feedback from your employees or colleagues. Great minds do think alike and often times multiple members will submit similar ideas. Going forward, we will now allow moderators to merge duplicate ideas in a Challenge. This new process will allow the moderators to select an idea, search through the current challenge for its duplicate, and confirm the merge.
Please note that marking an idea as duplicate will:
- end voting on the initially selected idea
- display only unique votes of both ideas under the merged idea
- not affect or carry over comments and likes in either idea
To merge a duplicate idea, select the “Duplicate” status:
A pop-up window will appear. Select the idea that you want to merge the duplicate idea with:
Idea will be marked as a Duplicate:
Active idea that has duplicates will include permalink:
*Please note that On-Premise clients will receive these features in a future release.
